Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers at 2230 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, Duluth, Georgia.

I went to Freddys today out of curiosity, always drove pass by clueless about the place so I decided to try it today At first glimpse at the menu I thought this place was over priced but I wanted to try so I got the original double cheese combo. My first bite of the burger was bit salty but when I took a second bite where the cheese was, Wow this burger was the best burger I had in Georgia so far, lived here over 25 plus years and tried many places like Burger 21, five guys and other gourmet burger restaurants but this burger was the best. I know I could not believe it either but the buns were warm and fluffy without any taste of preservatives, the cheese was melted just right in between the patties. it tasted like old school diner burgers. The shoe string fries were unique and delicious, but only downside of this place was no coke products, they have Pepsi,Yuk! If you haven't tried Freddy's, I highly recommend this place, I'm going back tomorrow. Oh yeah, I saw the founder's memorabilia in the store, the guy was WWII veteran, how cool and awesome is that, now I have more respect for the founder and this place.
